Time to Roar (August)

Embrace your inner bravery for Air Ambulance August and work towards earning this stunning mandala Lion medal. The last few months have been un-nerving for all of us, we have had to adapt, change our circumstances whilst missing the people we love. Have the heart of a lion for August, and welcome the changes with a brave mentality. This month, we will be raising money for Air Ambulances UK.


Alongside our usual challenge, we have the Summer Holiday Bingo. You can either do this yourself for a bit of fun or sign the kids up. I will do another listing for an off the shelf medal at a cheaper rate for the children, or they are more than welcome to sign up for a Lion medal. Enjoy being outside and ticking off the Bingo card. As usual, you have the option to choose from minutes or miles to cover over the month of August. I will also list a CUSTOM option. If you choose this, then you can set whatever goal you would like. These challenges are all about you guys, having fun and meeting your own goals, so if there is not a challenge listed that suits, then make your own! 


Choose from either Miles:

10 miles

25 miles

50 miles

75 miles

100 miles

You can cover your miles with any exercise you like, running, walking, cycling, you can even roller skate it if you fancy!


or Minutes:

270 minutes (60 mins a week)

675 minutes (2.5 hours a week)

1,000 minutes (4-ish hours a week)

1,600 minutes (6-ish hours a week)


You will need a fitness tracker so you can log your miles, be it a FitBit, Strava, Map my Run etc. You can either submit screen shots, or keep a spreadsheet to log your miles or minutes.

It is just me on my own logging your miles manually. I have no snazzzy software to do it for me. If there is any possibility, to make my life a little easier, could you please choose the weekly or monthy view from your tracker.
